Our history: from milk to now
Our story started in 1866 - that's when the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company opened the first condensed milk factory in Europe. Separately, in 1867 the young Henri Nestlé developed a breakthrough infant food to tackle high mortality rates. He started using the famous 'nest' logo around the same time - and in 1905 the company Henri founded merged with Anglo-Swiss.
